Milligan said he remembered buying a ticket at the store for the same drawing. At 5 a.m. the next day, he said, he started looking. In 10 minutes, he found the ticket with the matching date.

Antonios Kripotos, Chairman of a resource company specializing in gold mining, was at the racetrack betting a triactor. "I bet on three horses and got back over $4,000. I bet on another race and won over $1,800." The thought occurred to him that he should try the 6/49. His third bet was a winner, too! A Combo 9 ticket had all six winning numbers: "I was excited, very happy but not crazy."
It was his third time lucky on 6/49, too. Antonios previously won prizes of $13,000 and $12,000 each time playing Combo 9. A gold mining project was also a winner — a major discovery made in 1993! Maybe that saying should be changed for Antonios — good things come in sixes!
