Celebration 99 costs $20, with $22 million worth of prizes to be won, including a $5 million top prize. It is available throughout Canada except Ontario.
There are three distinct ticket portions: Instant, Daily Draw and Passive. The overall chance of winning is 1 in 2.98.

Instant Portion

The Celebration ‘99 Instant Portion has two play areas. Players win if they uncover three identical prizes in the same game.

The first play area offers two top prizes of $50,000, plus subsidiary prizes of a free ticket, $20, $50, $5,000 or $10,000.

In the second play area, players could win up to $1 million. If players reveal three "$1,000 + TV" symbols, they qualify for a trip to participate in a live TV draw on Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999. Prizes on the live draw range from $5,000 to $1 million. This play area also offers subsidiary prizes of a free ticket, $10, $25, $100 or $10,000.

Daily Draw

The Celebration ‘99 Daily Draw portion offers players a month of daily draws. Every day during December 1998, there will be a draw for a Chevrolet Blazer (or the $43,000 cash option). In total, there will be 31 prizes of a Chevrolet Blazer (or the $43,000 cash option).

Passive Portion

The excitement continues on the Passive Portion. The grand prize draw for $5 million plus the $1 million draw will be held on Jan. 10, 1999. Many other cash prizes will also be available to be won, including $20, $50, $100, $1,000 or $25,000. There will also be a draw for a SAAB 9-3SE Cabriolet valued at $68,000, a Cadillac Seville STS Berline valued at $66,000, 10 cruises valued at $10,000 each and 10 trips valued at $5,000 each.
